RAL 400#
16.06.16
RAL 400# is a lecture performance followed by a video with which an interaction is taking place. It is about a color taken off the list of the German RAL Institute just after the Second World War.
The lecture itself is divided into three parts: trauma, education and bureaucracy. It includes historical footage, an interview with the RAL Institute and is followed by a poll taken with citizens of the border town Frankfurt (Oder).
RAL 400# is about the question of why a color, which stands silent in between several symbols linked with the Nazi era, has been eliminated, even tough it isn't easily recognizable as such a link to a black spot on the history of humanity and human genocide.
