Inspired by ‘This be the verse’ by Philip Larkin.
A discreet investigation of the artist on basis of the paternal lineage of his own family. Extraction of anxiety, fear, loneliness and repeatability on a golf course and its looped eighteen hole structure. A relay race. The constitution of individual self seen from that perspective creates a collective self. Inevitable load of patrimony inherited whether we want it or not. Whether we are conscious of it or not. Whether we have courage to deal with it or not.
A two screen projection with sound. Looped endlessly.
